# Partner program

> Refer stores to LaunchMyStore and earn 20% of every payment they make: how stores are attributed to you, what you earn, refunds, payouts and reporting.

Every LaunchMyStore account is also a partner account. If you build apps,
themes or stores for merchants, you can bring them to the platform with your own
referral link or code and earn **20% of every payment** the store makes — its
first payment and every renewal — for as long as it stays subscribed. There is
nothing to apply for: your link and code are on the **Affiliates** page of your
admin.

## How a store is attributed to you

| How the store arrives | Who earns | The store's discount |

| Enters your code at checkout and isn't linked to a partner yet | You, on every payment | 10% off the first payment |
| Is already linked to another partner, then enters your code at checkout | You on that payment; the partner it's linked to keeps the renewals | 10% off the first payment |
| Enters its own code | Refused at checkout | — |

* **First touch wins.** The first partner link opened in a browser is
  remembered for up to 400 days. A later link from another partner doesn't
  replace it.
* **Linked for good.** Once a store is linked to you, it stays linked.
* **First payment only, card only.** The 10% applies to the first payment of
  the plan bought with your code, paid by card. Renewals are charged the plan's
  full price. A store that signs up through your link gets your code applied to
  its first plan automatically, including when it starts the 7-day trial with a
  card at signup — the first charge after the trial is the discounted one.

## What you earn

* **20% of the amount actually paid** — the first payment after its 10%
  discount, and every renewal at the full price.
* On the **first payment and every renewal**, for as long as the store stays
  subscribed.
* In the **store's billing currency**. Payments in INR add to your INR balance
  and payments in USD to your USD balance. The two balances are separate and
  are never converted into each other.
* Credited to your **Available** balance as soon as the payment succeeds.

### Refunds

A fully refunded payment reverses the commission it earned, and the amount is
deducted from your Available balance. A partial refund doesn't change the
commission.

### Program rules

You can't use your own code — it is refused at checkout. Referring yourself, or
misleading people to get sign-ups, can get a partner account suspended. A
suspended partner's link and code stop earning commission, though stores can
still use the code for the discount, and money already earned can still be paid
out.

## Payouts

Accept the partner program terms once on the Affiliates page, add a payout
account, and request a payout:

| Minimum per request | ₹2,000 | \$100 |

* Requests are in **whole amounts**, up to your Available balance in that
  currency. The payout account you choose decides the currency.
* The requested amount moves from **Available** to **In payout** immediately, so
  it can't be requested twice.
* A declined request returns the amount to Available.

## Reporting

The Affiliates page shows a funnel for the last 30 days or all time:

| Link visits | People who opened your link. Repeat visits from the same person count once. |
| Sign-ups | Stores linked to you. A store that enters your code at checkout counts here without a link visit. |
| Paying customers | Stores that have earned you a commission. Unpaid checkouts and refunded payments don't count. |

**Export CSV** downloads every commission, one row each:

| `amount` | The commission |
| `currency` | `INR` or `USD` |
| `invoice` | The payment the commission came from |
